Theory and practice are taught in parallel. Flow and loop control, basic plotting, arguments and return values, control statements and manipulating text are some of the topics included.

Ever wanted to go off for the weekend - worry free - and have everything from DICOM import to second level ready and waiting for you on Monday morning? Or perhaps save data in stable text files for immortality, rather than worry about software upgrades and compatibility? Then shell scripting is a very useful tool to stream-line your time. The workshop will focus on basic shell scripting procedures so you have time for more important things.
MatLab Figures (Eszter Schoell) Wednesday, April 10, 9:30am. 1 day course. FULL
Quickly generating a plot of data to understand it can oftentimes be helpful and MatLab makes it easy to generate plots. This course will introduce basic plotting commands and manipulation of figure properties (parents and children). The focus will be on using command line and scripting rather than the plotting editor.
